WHY MOUNTING 14 3D VIEWPORTS LAGGED & HOW THIS THEATER SOLVES IT: Browsers cap active WebGLRenderingContext instances at 8–16 per tab. Previously, mounting 14 Three.js / WebGL `requestAnimationFrame` loops + `2048×2048` shadow maps + `Reflector` mirrors simultaneously on page load caused 100% GPU contention and `2.2 MB` full-HTML polling every 3s. Now, only 1 WebGL context (or 2 in A/B Compare mode) is mounted at a time, old iframes are explicitly scrubbed (`about:blank`) before swapping, and background polling uses lightweight `0 KB` `HEAD` requests.
